Just a little elbow... paint!

On cococozy.com they had an article that featured Jill Sorensen's her attempt at refurbishing old furniture. Jill Sorensen is most commonly known for her work with Marmalade Interiors. She used an ingenious method of making various pieces math each other buy adding some coats of white paint. In doing so she managed to tone down the wide array of styles of each item that she chose blending them together nicely in to now matching pieces. Her simple use of chic fabrics and contemporary coloring is a testament to Contemerary design; less is more! This also goes to show you that you dont need to be a desgn genius and you dont have to be a furnature refurbishing expert to fix up some of those cool pieces you have laying around your late grand-parents house.
